Ordained in 2001, John came to the priesthood after a 20 year career in Christian higher education during which he taught theology and Biblical Hebrew to undergraduate and graduate students both in Canada and internationally in Russia, Ukraine, and Cuba. Ordination as a parish priest has given him the opportunity to apply his academic background to the realities of human need especially in parishes in “inner suburb” and “inner city” contexts.
